Downloading Wii Games From Torrent Sites? That’s a Bone-Headed Move!

Hi guys,

You know that I am already a member of Everything4Wii and get all the games and movies I want, right? You also know that I even told you to not download from torrent sites, right? Well, then what the heck is my problem then?

I’ve downloaded from Napster, Bearshare, eMule, and Limewire before (I’m 4 years legal now) and got a virus once and spyware and adware also but I thought (like an idiot) that I’d see if things are any different these days.

Well, Saturday I downloaded one called Frostwire and searched for some Wii games to download to test out what some of these people have been saying. I am such a moron. Uggg! Guess what I have on my laptop now? You guessed it!

I don’t think I have a virus but I sure do have a nice infection of spy/ad/malware or whatever it is. I haven’t tried to fix it yet because I’m too p-oed. Lucky for me, I am very good with computers but if I weren’t I’d have to take it to a shop or buy some kind of remover.

I was so excited when I bought my kids their new Wii for Christmas

because they kept going on and on about it. I’m not kidding you in saying that I was reluctant because, although the Wii is really cool, I just wasn’t looking forward to spending $50 bucks a pop for all the new games. Then I found a store down the street that sells used games of all kinds. They have games for all the gaming consoles and handhelds and the prices are pretty cheap. It wasn’t slapped together by somebody with a word editor. It also said that you don’t have to modify the Wii with some kind of mod chip. Finally, as found in our short test period, we experienced that the 27/7 customer service to be a misnomer. If you have a problem you should expect customer service to respond back to you in 2-3 days. That can be a long time if you have a real problem.
